National Manager, Systems Application - Careers

Position: Full time, salary-exempt, reports to the Vice President

Job Description:

The National Manager of Systems & Application Engineering (NMSAE) will be responsible for leading and providing Rawal Devices, Inc. technical strategic direction. This person will work closely with internal and external sales people and technical individuals to enhance overall sales. The NMSAE will be responsible for networking and presenting the APR Control to engineers and technical leaders. Additionally, this role will be responsible for creating and developing the Sales Trainee Program to ensure that Rawal Devices’ technical expertise is in place for future growth.


  • Provide Technical Leadership
    • Strategic application development along with research and development
    • Build and establish technical standards and best practices, includes providing optimal technical support services
    • Resource planning and staff development; includes skills training
    • Create and implement educational training programs to strengthen authorized partner’s relationships so they are evangelists for the APR Control
    • Push technical information to the HVAC industry
    • Sales and Networking
  • Excellent communicator with extensive and well developed phone skills, in-person presentation skills, and advanced writing skills
  • Network and educate value engineering strategies for the APR Control to the engineering community including Consulting Engineering Firms, and Design/Build Firms
  • Publicly present the APR Control to industry leaders and provide technical documents for publishing which includes; advertorial briefs, technical papers, user case stories, and when possible engage with the HVAC community to educate and contribute technical expertise
  • Training - Advanced technical training for Rawal Devices’ staff and customers (Distributors, Engineers, Contractors, Facilities Personnel, Contractors)
  • Train internal staff
  • Create a Technical Sales Trainee Program for all technical abilities from interns to senior staff
  • Train and mentor new hires
  • Assist with recruitment for future trainees
  • Create a Technical Sales Training Program for Partners (parts, equipment) and Contractors
  • Train current partners
  • Train new partners
  • Train Contractors


  • 15 plus years of experience in HVAC systems, product designs, and or HVAC applications (field experience is a plus)
  • Experience with designing, programming and commissioning HVAC control systems for commercial and industrial buildings
  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Advanced AC systems (dx) application support
  • Understanding of the refrigerant circuit operation
  • Understanding of the basics of humidity and dehumidification solutions
  • Understanding basics of (cooling) load calculation for commercial structures
  • Outstanding communication and writing skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate
  • Strong training experience
  • Highly organized and process driven
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
