System Type
DOAS & Makeup Air
Dedicated outdoor air systems and makeup air units condition high volumes of outside air, where leaving-air conditions matter and loads swing widely. APR Control adds continuous capacity modulation, and APR‑E Valve adds electronic discharge air control where the leaving-air target has to be held.
New or existing equipment
On DOAS and makeup air, APR Control fits both ways: retrofit onto the equipment you already run, or built into new equipment by OEMs, contractors, and third-party modifiers, with no design-day capacity penalty.
Why DOAS and makeup air
High outside-air applications see load conditions change quickly, which pushes cycling equipment through frequent starts and unsteady discharge air. APR Control modulates capacity continuously; where the application needs a precise, repeatable leaving-air temperature, APR‑E Valve holds discharge air to ±1°F on DAT control.
In an independent DOAS equipment manufacturer's development lab, an APR Control ran 5.1 hours continuously with zero stops on an R-454B test unit, holding steady modulation through the load swings that make DOAS hard.
APR‑E Valve Discharge Precision
Electronic control of leaving-air temperature for tight DOAS targets.
APR Control Modulation
Continuous capacity modulation, sized to the lead compressor.
Refrigerant Compatibility
Compatible with new or old refrigerants (R-410A, R-454B, R-32, and legacy refrigerants such as R-22). Choosing between mechanical and electronic? See How It Works.
