Tower Radiology: One Retrofit, 20+ Imaging Centers in Spec

The Challenge
Tower Radiology expanded to over 20 West-Central Florida outpatient centers, each needing fast HVAC response as PET/CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound machines cycle. When the machines run, spaces demand full cooling; when they stop, the load drops to nearly zero. Standard equipment could not hold the required 68 to 72°F and 48 to 52% RH, short cycling and failing.
The Solution
All Florida Mechanical installed Rawal APR Control valves on the existing DX equipment for continuous capacity modulation. The retrofit preserved the existing infrastructure while providing the precise, responsive control a radiology environment needs.
