How to Adjust the APR Control by Rawal Devices

Rawal Devices’ Senior Technical Engineer, Jason Santos, walks you through how to adjust the APR Control and also covers some of the reasons why you would adjust. We’ve often called the APR Control a “set-it and forget-it” solution as it comes factory set to modulate at approximately 120psig for R-410A (maintaining a 40°F evaporator coil temperature). For most standard DX comfort cooling applications, the APR typically does not require adjustment.
